John, when we started knocking doors two years ago today, we had just one staff member – Kadida Kenner, our founding Executive Director and now Chief Executive Officer – and a team of fellows.

From the start, we’ve had one crucial mission: To conduct year-round voter registration, civic engagement and mobilization centering historically disenfranchised Black, Indigenous, and other people of color, immigrant communities and the youth to ensure all eligible voters feel compelled to exercise their freedom to vote in the Commonwealth.
We saw how our hard work paid off in 2022. We helped transform the electorate of our battleground state, win two U.S. Senate races, our Governor’s race, and flip our State House for the first time in over a decade. Rather than facing down ever-worsening voter suppression and abortion restrictions, today we’re making progress for both.
