PA Fairness Act

I’m thrilled to announce that HB 300, the PA Fairness Act, passed the House yesterday on third consideration and will move to the Senate for debate. I’m proud to have voted YES on this legislation that protects the LGBTQ+ community from discrimination in housing, education, and the workplace.

I strongly encourage all to contact your State Senators to ensure the bill passes as-is and gets to the Governor for signature. If you are unsure who your State Senator is, visit legis.state.pa.us for assistance.

Trooper Branden Sisca Dedication

Last Friday I was honored to speak at the memorial sign dedication ceremony for fallen Trooper and Trappe Fire Chief Branden Sisca. Sisca dedicated his life to public service and protection of our community.

This dedication stands as a show of our sincere gratitude for his service and our pledge to honor his memory and sacrifice. Thank you to all who attended.

Town Hall

Reminder, I will host my Legislative Town Hall on May 17th at Schellhase Commons, Ursinus College. Please join me at 6:30 PM to hear news from Harrisburg and updates on community projects. I look forward to seeing you there!

Military Appreciation Month

As a veteran, I’m proud to celebrate National Military Appreciation Month as it provides an opportunity for us to remember those who have fallen in the line of duty, provide support to our veteran community, and honor those who continue to serve in the U.S. Armed Forces.

We thank you for your service each and every day and strive to provide greater care and assistance to our veteran communities.

Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month

In May we celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month to honor the AAPI communities and individuals who have enriched our nation.

I am proud to be an ally in the PA Legislative Asian Pacific American Caucus and am looking forward to working with my colleagues in protecting the AAPI community from discrimination and hate.

Mental Health Awareness Month

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. We strive to fight the stigma of mental health conditions and honor the mental health professionals who provide the care and treatment for individuals across the Commonwealth.

National Small Business Week (April 30-May 6)

It’s National Small Business Week to support our local businesses and the entrepreneurs in our communities. Remember to shop small and support our local economy this week and every week!

International Firefighters Day

Tomorrow, May 4th, is International Firefighters Day to thank all of our dedicated firefighters who protect our communities day in and day out. We are grateful for your service and sacrifice.

National Nurses Day

This Saturday, May 6th, is National Nurses Day to honor our nurses and the work they do for their patients. As a son of a nurse, I understand the difficulties of the job and how it can affect the family, so I say my sincere THANK YOU to all the nurses in our community.
