Gun Violence Prevention Advocate,
We made a little bit of history today. The Common Agenda to End Gun Violence took a major step forward in the House. And there were strong indications of bipartisan support, as the legislative body that for decades has blocked action on life-saving policies today decisively acted to move a comprehensive package forward. But even as we take a moment for celebration, it’s important to understand: the work isn't finished. There’s one more vote needed in the House for final passage to get the Common Agenda over to the Senate. Can you take two minutes to email your State Rep. at this vital time while we have momentum?

We have three weeks before the House is scheduled to return to session, and with your support, we can make sure they pass the strongest gun safety package in Pennsylvania in decades. Here’s what’s on the table:
- Requiring that guns be stored safely in the home to prevent school shootings, youth suicides, and unintentional shootings [1]
- Requiring that lost and stolen firearms be reported to cut the number of illegal guns fueling violence in our communities [2]
- Creating Extreme Risk Protection Orders (ERPOs) to prevent firearm suicides, mass shootings, and domestic violence homicides [3]
- Enacting universal background checks to stop weapons of war from getting into the wrong hands [4]
Today, we took another big step towards a safer PA. Keep taking a stand for an end to gun violence – write to your State Rep. right now.
Sincerely,
Adam Garber
