In the run up to the 2019 General Election, Boris Johnson told an audience that he was "looking at" abolishing the TV licence fee. Earlier that year, TaxPayers' Alliance polling found that almost 70 per cent of working-class voters want to scrap the TV tax. This was a full 28 per cent higher than support among middle-class voters. The time is ripe for reform of the BBC.

With Tony Hall, the Director General of the BBC, stepping down, we are at an interesting crossroads - the BBC is under pressure from more modern broadcasters that utilise technology to stream content on demand. How can the BBC model change and adapt to the 21st century?

Mark will explore all of this - and more - with Sir Robbie, who will have a unique insight of working in the BBC and dealing with it in government.

I do hope you can join us

With best wishes

Milly
