Important! PVI 2,3 & 4 year old Funded Providers - Deadline for Census

Dear Provider,

As you are aware, every year in January, the Department for Education (DfE) requires all local authorities to carry out a census of all Private, Voluntary and Independent Childcare Providers who deliver the free entitlement for 2, 3 and 4 year old children.

It is extremely important that every provider completes a return as the census information determines the funding amount the LA receives from the DfE for the next financial year to pass on to childcare providers. This requirement is in the annual funding agreement you have signed and your funding will be affected if you do not complete a return.

*The deadline for sending through your data form for the 2020 Census is Friday 14th February.* It will only take 6 minutes to complete and you can access the census via this link

You are required to use the 16th January 2020 as the effective date for pupil and staff totals.
