Howdy John,
Over the past few election cycles, Democrats have steadily made gains throughout our state, and 2022 was truly a stand-out year.
We helped keep Jared Polis in the Governor’s mansion and Michael Bennet in the U.S. Senate, while electing two incredible new Congresswomen, Yadira Caraveo and Brittany Pettersen. We came within 546 votes of defeating MAGA radical Lauren Boebert – a top target that we are already gearing up to beat this time around.
In the state legislature, we protected our majorities in both the Senate and the House, ensuring that we have leaders at all levels of government fighting for everyday Coloradans and delivering wins.
At the federal level, our incredible Senators and Members of Congress are fighting to restore and protect reproductive rights, advance voting rights legislation, and combat the climate crisis.
Thanks to Democrats in our state legislature, Colorado is now an even safer haven for women’s reproductive rights and transgender care. We've delivered wins that strengthen our democracy, invest in our schools, and help us prepare for future wildfires.
Democrats had an immensely successful 2022 and are already building on that progress in 2023. Now, we’re focused on making our state more affordable for families, making our communities safer, and increasing access to affordable health care and high-quality education for our kids.
