Friend -
I am writing today to bring your attention to a recent travel warning issued by Equality Florida, which highlights the need for organizations like PowerPAC to help fund the needed work that must be done in a state that is becoming dangerous for the LGBTQ+ community and others.
Will you help us continue our efforts to create a more just and equitable world for all? [[link removed]]
As you may know, Equality Florida, the largest civil rights organization dedicated to securing equality and justice for Florida's LGBTQ+ community, recently issued a travel warning, cautioning members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies to be mindful when traveling to certain areas of the state. This warning comes in response to the passing of discriminatory laws and policies in some cities and counties in Florida that specifically target LGBTQ+ individuals. As of April 19th, the Florida Legislature has extended its Don’t Say Gay Bill through the 12th grade. This is devastating news for Florida’s youth and educators.
At PowerPAC, we believe that everyone deserves to live in a safe and inclusive world, free from discrimination and harassment. That's why we work tirelessly to support organizations like Equality Florida, which advocate for the rights of marginalized communities and work to create a more just and equitable society for all.
But we can't do it alone. We need your help to continue our efforts to support organizations like that are fighting for justice and equality.
Please consider making a donation to PowerPAC today to support our efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion. Your donation can help us make a difference and create a better, safer, and more inclusive world. [[link removed]]
Your contribution, no matter how big or small, can make a real difference in the lives of those who are fighting for their rights and, in some cases, their lives.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter, and thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Dc Lozano, Director of Hopeful Content

PowerPAC is a social justice organization that strategically directs financial and human resources to local and state organizations working to deliver wins in legislative fights, ballot initiatives, and more. For years the money we've raised has, dollar for dollar, been given back to the communities we work with. We've made sure that your investments were being used to build power for our communities because too often we are underrepresented and ignored.
