Countering national trends, Minnesota is on the verge of making it easier to vote for all eligible voters in this state. The legislature passed the Democracy for the People Act and now it’s heading to Governor Walz for his signature.
These are some of the priorities I’ve been working to achieve for years and I’m so proud that they’re on the verge of becoming law in Minnesota.
But I need your help as we get to the finish line. We need a groundswell of support to let Governor Walz know we are all standing behind this bill. Will you join me in adding your name now?
The Democracy for the People Act will
✅ Provide automatic voter registration,
✅ Allow 16- and 17-year-old citizens to pre-register to vote,
✅ Add more transparency to campaign finance rules,
✅ Bar intimidation of voters,
✅ Make it a crime to interfere with someone who is trying to register to vote or cast a ballot.
We have the opportunity to keep the momentum going, so I need your help in making sure voter access is expanded and all eligible voters make their voices heard.
Please join me and show your support for democracy by signing your name to the petition to pass the Democracy for the People Act in Minnesota. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that everyone has a fair chance to participate in our democracy. Add your name now →
Thank you for your support, team!
