Under Karen's leadership, Migrant Clinicians Network has worked unceasingly so that the most marginalized are cared for, and the clinicians who serve them are well equipped to do so -- even in the face of poverty, immigration policy, structural racism, and public health emergencies like COVID-19 and the climate crisis.

After 36 years at the helm, building MCN from its beginnings of a few collaborating clinicians, into a vast network of thousands of constituents across the nation, Karen Mountain is retiring. We’re so proud of the legacy she leaves at MCN. Throughout her tenure, she has been a fierce champion for the health and well-being of underserved communities, dedicating herself to the promotion of health care equity and access.
