The GOP passed a bill in the House to prevent trans women and girls from competing in sports. 

The Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act passed the House 219-203, with Democrat lawmakers calling it an example of "transgender bullying." Over two dozen states have banned transgender youth from playing on girls' and women's teams since 2021.

Google continues to profit from climate denial

In Oct. 2021, Google promised to stop inserting its advertisements alongside content that denied climate change. However, new research found that the company never followed the pledge and continues to attach its ads to climate denial material on major platforms, including YouTube.

Montana transgender Rep. Zooey Zephyr filed a lawsuit against the Republican lawmakers who silenced her for defending trans rights. The suit is backed by the American Civil Liberties Union of Montana.
