Kitsap County Public Works crews are planning to begin construction on an intersection alignment project at Orchard Ave SE and Olalla Valley Rd SE in South Kitsap. Work is scheduled to begin May 15-19, however, these dates are contingent on weather conditions and subject to change. Orchard Ave SE will be closed for the duration of the project. Olalla Valley Rd SE will be single lane alternating. This project will provide improved access to Olalla Valley Rd SE from Orchard Ave SE and create improved sight distance for enhanced safety at the intersection.
