Many Republicans were pleasantly surprised when Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. vigorously pushed back on the early COVID-19 narratives and especially on Anthony Fauci. Kennedy's important book, The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health, shined a light on Fauci's checkered past of lying, data manipulation, and subservience to the pharmaceutical industry. As Samuel Mangold-Lenett explains, however, Kennedy is still a liberal Democrat who is also a rabid environmentalist. Republicans who just want to beat Trump need to be careful about their potential allegiances. Reprinted with permission. Pat Daugherty, Ed.D.
