You would be hard-pressed to find a person who has a track record as impressive as Rep. Barbara Lee. From working with the NAACP to integrate her cheerleading squad as a teenager to the 25 years she's spent fighting for progress in Congress, Barbara Lee is the OG of progressive intersectional politics.

Time and time again, Rep. Lee has proven that she is not afraid to stand by herself and fight for tough issues. From voting against giving George W. Bush unlimited war powers in the days following 9/11 to consistently voting in support of climate action, cannabis legalization, abortion rights and more, Barbara Lee's never-ending fire has undoubtedly moved the needle for progress forward.

And that's why I'm writing to you today, to formally endorse a fellow former Congressional Progressive Caucus Co-Chair, Rep. Barbara Lee.

John, I know that Barbara Lee is the progressive fighter we need in the Senate. She will be bringing not only decades of experience to the table, but the voice of a Black woman which has sorely been missing in our upper chamber of Congress. 

But Rep. Lee can only get to the Senate if we pitch in now to help her. She is facing a steep fundraising deficit in what is sure to be a wildly expensive race, so I have to ask: Will you rush a donation to Barbara Lee's campaign to help send her to the Senate so she can build a progressive future for all?
