There is no better way to celebrate Independence Day than at Farm Sanctuary — where all living beings can exist freely and peacefully.
Our New York sanctuary is home to more than 500 rescued pigs, cows, sheep, and others, who found freedom after surviving exploitation and cruelty in our modern food system. Because of their inspiring journeys, our 275-acre haven is a fitting place to ring in America’s birthday.
On Saturday, July 1, meet us in the pasture for a festive celebration honoring our collective freedom. We last hosted this beloved event in 2019 and are beyond excited to bring it back! It’s kind of a “pig” deal.
Pignic-goers will enjoy:
- A vegan picnic spread 🍉
- Live music 🎶
- Time with sanctuary animal residents 🐖
- Kids' activities like face painting 🎨
Spread out a blanket, and bask in the summertime sunshine as you connect with farm animals. Purchase your tickets today.
All proceeds support Farm Sanctuary’s continued work toward a more compassionate future for farm animals, people, and the planet. A special thanks to our sponsors Barvecue, Lee & Jeni Cooper, Breyer Horses, Heather Byrne & Ronald Helmeci.
