This is your seventh edition of the Tipirneni Times, our monthly newsletter rounding up the past month's events, happenings, and campaign news.
Hiral is one of the first Red to Blue challengers of 2020!
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee announced the first round of its highly competitive Red to Blue program -- races seen as the best opportunities to flip in 2020. And Hiral was officially named as a Red to Blue candidate!
This is a major display of confidence in the campaign you've helped us build, and it will give us further organizational strength and credibility going forward.
Women continue leading the charge!
Hiral had an amazing time at the Phoenix Women's March. She was inspired seeing folks of all ages come together from all across Arizona to fight for equality and empowerment for girls and women everywhere. There's so much at stake this year -- and after 2018, women are leading the charge again!
Fighting for reproductive freedom
David Schweikert kicked off the new year by signing on to a letter calling for the Supreme Court to reverse Roe v. Wade. Too many politicians like David Schweikert think they can dictate women's personal medical decisions.
Hiral reaffirmed her solidarity for reproductive freedom at a gathering in support of Planned Parenthood. She's running because it's more critical than ever that we commit to fighting for women's reproductive health rights and protecting autonomy over our bodies. So let's work together to elect pro-choice leaders!
Making sure we get on the ballot!
We're taking nothing for granted. That's why in January we started an early push for signatures so that Hiral qualifies for the ballot.
The deadline is April 6, but our plan is to be ahead of the curve. If you're a registered Arizona voter, please sign the online nominating petition here: [link removed]
A big event ahead this month:
If you're in the Phoenix area, we have a really great opportunity for you to meet Hiral coming up on February 18 at Su Vino Winery. Come on out and ask questions, discuss issues, pick-up and/or drop-off petitions, and meet new friends! Admission is free and all ages are welcome!

Thank you for all you've done and continue to do to move this campaign forward!
