Friend,

Tomorrow, my colleagues in the Senate will cast the most important, consequential vote of their lifetimes. But no matter the outcome, we cannot lose faith in the power of dedicated citizens across the country working to save our Democracy.

We need to prove that nothing, not even the GOP's pathetic display of partisanship, will keep us home on Election Day. We need to make our voices heard at the polls, and force Republicans to pit their cowardly, self-serving defense of the president against the millions and millions of Americans who are ready to rid the White House of this dangerous criminal.

Next month, Californians will have the chance to do just that. On Tuesday, March 3rd, I’ll be running in the congressional primary elections, and the stronger our showing is at the polls, the stronger the message we can send to my Republican challengers: your party's days of betraying the American people are over. So will you contribute $500, $250, $100, or whatever you can toward my re-election campaign today?

P.S. If you're registered to vote in California, you may have already received your primary ballot in the mail (and if not, you should be receiving it in the next few days). Every California voter has the option to vote-by-mail, meaning you can fill out your ballot and either mail it to your county elections official, return it in-person to a polling place or the office of your county elections official, or deliver it to one of your county's ballot drop-off locations between now and Primary Day.
