Listen, Roe was the floor, not the ceiling. Even before Roe, people of color, low-income areas and other marginalized groups struggled to access abortion care.

And with ultra-conservatives like Kevin McCarthy in charge, the House may never even have a vote on new pro-choice legislation. In fact, one of the first bills that the new House Republican Majority passed this year was a series of abortion restrictions.
