I want to thank everyone for supporting our campaign last month.

I know it’s easy to get discouraged by the news lately -- from devastating acts of gun violence to more efforts to roll back reproductive rights. Trust me -- I feel angry and sad when I read these stories, too.

That’s why it’s especially meaningful that you remain engaged with our campaign. No matter what the latest headlines say, you want to do something about these big issues facing our country. I do, too. 

I believe if we keep working together, we can create the change we want to see -- in New Jersey and in our country. Sometimes that change might not happen as quickly as we would like, but it’s important that we never give up.

I’m doing all I can to address the big challenges in front of us. I’m fighting for measures to restore Roe v. Wade at the federal level and protect access to mifepristone. Last year, we passed the first new gun violence prevention law in decades, and I’m working to enact more commonsense measures to keep guns from dangerous people and keep our children and communities safe.

None of that would be possible without you. Your grassroots support has always fueled my efforts in Congress, so thank you again for all you do.
