I wanted to reach out to you personally to discuss our recent fundraising efforts. Despite our ambitious end of month goal of $15,000, we fell short.
So when we miss our fundraising goals, fewer folks get registered to vote, fewer folks get access to polls, and our candidates lose out on the resources they need to compete. All of which means fewer Black Democrats are elected into office.
In 2023 — when voting rights and reproductive rights are being gutted by state legislatures and Kevin McCarthy and the House GOP are actively trying to strip millions of Black Americans of their healthcare access — it’s more important than ever that we hit our goals and help our candidates.
So I’m asking you personally, John: Will you make a contribution of $10 or more to get off to a fast start in May and make up for our missed goal?
Thank you for your support,
Quentin James
