John, I wanted to take a moment to tell you how grateful I am for you and this entire grassroots team. After I reached out saying I was coming up short of my end-of-month goal, grassroots supporters from every corner of the nation stepped up to close the gap.

And now, thanks to you, I’m on pace to secure the resources I need to win California's Senate seat and build a progressive future for all.

Throughout my decades of public service, I've seen time and time again just how much progressive fighters like you and me can achieve when we come together. From keeping the pressure on until we passed sweeping health care reform to legalizing gay marriage to ousting Trump from the White House after just one term, we are truly better together. 

And that's why I know that this powerful grassroots team is capable of sending me straight to the U.S Senate – where there are currently no other Black women serving. So I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you for stepping up when I need you most. 

This won't be an easy race, but I have faith in us, John. So let's keep up the momentum all the way to Election Day and win this thing!
