We won’t know for months who the GOP nominee will be, but recent polls show that former President Trump is the frontrunner. In 2016, Trump won Michigan by only 10,704 votes. That’s the narrowest margin of victory in Michigan’s history of presidential election results. Thanks to the hard work of Michigan Democrats, President Biden won Michigan in 2020, proving that the road to the White House runs straight through our state. Michigan is a critical battleground state in 2024. Not only is our state now an early nominating primary state, but we have critical races down the ballot for the U.S. Senate, U.S. House, and state legislature.
