Hey John!? ? EMILY's List has announced that they are reopening their fellowship for 2023 and YDA is partnering with them to recruit potential applicants! Their Ignite Change Fellowship is a nine-week training program for community-driven leaders who are ready to take their advocacy to the next level and run for office.? ? The fellowship is a free program to train engaged community leaders interested in running for office and has helped our 150 alums join boards and commissions, found non-profits, work on campaigns, run for office and win! Applications are due May 19 at 11:59 ET. ? If you are interested, the Young Democrats of America is hosting an informational session on May 4 at 8PM ET for members to come and learn more about how they can.? ? |

EMILY's List needs your help identifying and recruiting women and non-binary people to run for elected office! To that end, we would greatly appreciate it if you could forward this information along to your members and network. We are looking for people just thinking about running for office! If you would like to learn more about the fellowship, register for our information session on May 11 at 1pm ET here. ? The fellowship will begin in August 2023 and will be capped at 40 applicants.
