From the beginning, our campaign has been about Montanans. We have traveled all over the state talking with folks who are fired up and ready to elect an Attorney General who will fight for ALL of us.

That’s what we did this last week when we took advantage of the mild weather and got behind the wheel to visit with communities across Montana. And everywhere we went -- from Libby to Hamilton and the Hi-Line -- Montanans are ready to elect an Attorney General who fights for us again.
First, we spent a day in Libby meeting with democrats and listening to their concerns for the future of Montana and their community. We talked about protecting public lands, their access to affordable healthcare, and how the Attorney General is their lawyer who defends our rights and constitution.

We went on to meet with democrats in Hamilton at their monthly potluck where we brought brown butter chocolate chip cookies that Marisa, my daughter Genevieve, and I made together. They were a big hit!

We spoke to a packed room about my work to kick dark money out of our elections, defend public access, and defeat the tobacco industry who are addicting our kids and families with flavored vapor products. There were also several questions about the recent
Espinoza ([link removed]) case where I defended Montanan’s right to public education, religious freedom, and our Montana Constitution.

We started this week with a trip to Havre and Chinook where we talked with local democrats about the importance of showing up, listening, and having a real advocate in the Attorney General’s office. Someone who will never take the easy road and will always defend our rights and values as Montanans.

What we have learned is that Montanans are ready for an Attorney General who works for us again--who will fight for ALL of us.

We WILL NOT settle for an Attorney General who:
* Caves to out-of-state corporate interests
* Turns a blind eye to dark money groups buying our elections
* Puts our public lands and access up for sale
