I received some unfortunate news this morning. 

Despite giving it our all, we came up short on our end-of-month goal.

While this is a setback for our team, it’s now up to us to use all of the resources at our disposal to catch up (starting with sending emails like this one). Will you chip in $5, $10, or whatever you can to put us back on track?

Falling short of our goal is not the end all be all of our campaign. We don’t expect every single one of our supporters to donate to every email we send.

But the truth is, online fundraising is one of the main sources of funding for our staff, offices, ads, and more. Not to mention the grassroots donations we receive are critical to helping us fend off Republican investments in Michigan.

I’m not worried about kicking off May strong. I’ve seen the power of this grassroots team, and I know we can work together to catch up and reach our missed goal.
