Welcome to the February issue of the Gina Gazette, our monthly newsletter
collecting everything that’s been going on in the election! The primary is just
a month away, so we’ve been busy building a powerful coalition of voters across
all of TX-23.
MLK Day Parade

San Antonio proudly hosts the country’s largest MLK Day parade. As Dr. King
said,“Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for
others?” Gina seeks to answer that question daily in her lifelong path of
service to her community and our country.
San Antonio Women’s March

Gina also walked in the 2020 Women’s March in San Antonio. Since 2017, this
event has been a reminder of both how far we’ve come for women’s rights, and
how far we still have yet to go in creating a just and equal society.
Speaking at Texas A&M University - San Antonio

Gina had a great time talking with the students at TAMUSA about the importance
of voting and what’s at stake in this upcoming election. These bright students
are the future of our democracy, and it’s great to see them so engaged in their
communities early on in their lives.
New Endorsements!

Last month, Gina was endorsed by several organizations, including the Texas
AFL-CIO, Laborers International Union of North America, Stonewall Democrats of
San Antonio, and the Second Service Coalition. Gina is honored to earn the
support of groups that share her commitment to Texas working families, service
to our country and our communities, and ensuring everyone is treated with
dignity and respect under the law.
That’s it for this month’s Gina Gazette!
