Hi there --
Have you heard? Proposals have been submitted to make Pennsylvania one of the locations for new facilities claiming to be a part of the climate solution: hydrogen hubs. But they’re not giving the whole story.
Creating zero-carbon, green hydrogen has a niche role in decarbonizing energy-intensive manufacturing as part of a healthy climate future, but Pennsylvania is choosing to advance the creation of a hydrogen hub sourced from fracked gas.
It’s no secret that fracking has created problems in our communities. Methane gas has skyrocketed our carbon pollution. Laying thousands of miles of pipelines has polluted local streams and contaminated families wells. Low-income communities and communities of color have faced the brunt of the burdens of pollution from fracking. We cannot afford a fast-tracked Fracking 2.0.
Friend, we want to bring you up to speed to join the fight against this new frontier of dirty energy. Join us on May 11 to learn more about what hydrogen hubs could mean for Pennsylvanians: [link removed]
What: Hydrogen and Climate Change: How the Fossil Fuel Industry is Using Hydrogen as a Front for More Fracking

We’ve lined up energy experts and top environmental advocates to join us for a panel and provide an easy-to-understand overview of how hydrogen hubs will operation, what’s at stake, and answer your questions and concerns.
So many questions remain – How will this hydrogen hub impact Pennsylvania’s climate goals? What should communities expect if a hydrogen hub is built? How can policymakers protect communities from the proposed hydrogen hub?
Can I count on you to join us on May 11 to hear about this new industry that’s being proposed to Pennsylvania communities? Sign up here and invite your loved ones to join us too! >> [link removed]
Hope to see you there,
