This is Sandy Smith from NC's First District- and I am pleased to announce BIG news!.
The NC Supreme Court overturned their own horrendous ruling from last year, the one that resulted in the terribly unconstitutional maps I had to run in last year.
That means FOR THE FIRST TIME, I will run in a fairly-drawn district in 2024, AND with our Voter ID requirement that the NC Supremes ALSO brought back!
The news last week was AMAZING. No more judicial tyranny in NC! The will of our voters will be respected!
But that means the lines we ran on were illegitimate!
Not only that, but the Voter ID Constitutional Amendment that the previous NC Supreme Court spiked, is back in force! That means NO MORE CHEATING in NC elections!
It also means Democrat Don Davis is an illegitimate Congressman - and we need a special election as soon as the new lines are set!
So now the NC legislature gets to draw new lines. The Dems are PANICKED because this one won't be a Democrat gerrymander!
