Folks, My name is Dorian Palmer. I’m honored to have been elected as the 81st President of the Young Democrats of North Carolina.
|
I am a husband, parent and community advocate. I got to where I am today with the support of teachers and the folks in the community I call home – Morganton.
I stand on the shoulders of the leaders that come before me in YDNC: Mayor Ronnie Thompson, Secretary of State Elaine Marshall, and of course, Governor Roy Cooper.
In 2022, young people voted in record numbers across this country, but not in North Carolina. We're hear to change that. Our mission is this: to energize Democrats – both young and young at heart – all across North Carolina by spreading our message of hope.
|
With your help, we can send a resounding message that Democrats are fired up and ready to stop Republican extremism and fight for everyone’s rights in our state.I am thrilled to be working with the other young leaders who were elected alongside me to lead YDNC – and we're hitting the ground running. As we get started, will you give $10 to the cause? I’d be all the more grateful if you’d consider making your contribution a monthly, recurring donation!Young people must be bold and united to beat back the tide of extremism in North Carolina as the GOP gerrymander our state, restrict the right to vote, and attack kids for being who they are. It’s our only way forward. Let's roll,Dorian N. Palmer81st President of YDNC
