Team,
Today we celebrate May Day, or International Workers’ Day, and the monumental accomplishments of the labor movement over the years. As a proud labor advocate, I’ve dedicated my entire career to fighting for workers’ rights, and now I have the privilege of doing that work in Congress.
In my first few months as a Representative, I’ve sponsored bipartisan legislation targeted at strengthening our workforce and expanding opportunities for job seekers. From establishing training and apprenticeship programs to create different avenues towards success to ensuring the next generation of farmers is able to thrive, I’m making real change happen for our working families.
But I can’t do this alone. We’re building broad coalitions with supporters on both sides of the aisle to deliver solutions for America’s workers. Will you join our fight for working families by calling on other members of Congress to support legislation for workers’ rights?
