Hey John,
I’m sure you’re as frustrated as I am with the catastrophe of last night’s Caucuses in Iowa. It’s an absolute shame that in 2020 we are seeing this level of incompetence in such an important election. Is this a sign of things to come this election year?
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, establishment politics as usual is simply not going to work. The undermining of what should be a democratic process is causing the people of this country to suffer.
While we wait for the delayed results, this hits close to home, and it’s exactly why I’m running for Congress. My district is also experiencing a delay; an unbearable delay that has gone on for decades.
Here’s why:
The incumbent here is funded by the wealthy elite, corporations and the Democratic party establishment. We see where that has gotten us. The cycle of poverty is perpetuated through stagnant low wages, the stranglehold of debt, and predatory payday lending. The people of this district deserve much better. They deserve a fighter who will serve their needs and interests.
