We could call it unbelievable, but nothing is unbelievable anymore. As brought to light by recent reporting, <[link removed]>?the effort to pass House Joint Resolution 1 is funded by out of state money from a billionaire who thinks his voice matters more than Ohio voters.?



Richard Uihlein, who donated millions to overturn 2020 election results, is urging Ohio lawmakers to set an August election for a vote on a proposal to amend the Ohio constitution to require a 60% vote for passage of amendments instead of the simple majority we have had for more than 100 years.

The Save Our Constitution PAC has initiated radio ads against House Speaker Stephens and others. The group is intensifying its campaign by launching targeted digital, television, and text message ads against Stephens and other influential House Republicans who have not committed to support HJR 1.



It is up to us to show them that there are plenty of Ohioans who appreciate their opposition!
