Hey team,

Earlier, we reached out to let you know that the Trump administration is making cuts to health care programs, but we misspoke. Trump’s administration is making cuts to Medicaid, which specifically serves low-income individuals, families, and children.

A wonderful supporter caught the error, and it’s an important distinction to make. People from all walks of life rely on Medicaid for help—but the Trump administration doesn’t seem to care.

It’s hard to keep straight what this administration is cutting when it comes to health care, but it’s important that we do.

If you’ll stand with us today to protect Medicaid and the people who rely on it, we’d be really grateful.

-----FORWARDED MESSAGE-----

ALERT: The president of the United States should be fighting to make health care more accessible to everyday Americans. Instead, Donald Trump is shifting the law to kick Americans—including people right here in Minnesota—off of Medicare. Will 400 of Quinn’s supporters join her and take a stand today?

Friend —

The Trump administration just announced that they would begin to allow states to cap the money they spend on Medicare, meaning fewer and fewer people will have access to Medicare to provide the support they need to live their lives.

There is only one thing this rule change will do: It will make it more difficult for people to get the care they need.

There is absolutely ZERO reason to ever make it more difficult for anyone to access health care. 80% of Americans agree: We should not be making cuts to Medicare. Stand with us today and oppose this inhumane agenda:

No one should be struggling to pay medical bills. No one should be choosing between keeping the lights on and life-saving medication.

Access to health care is a basic, fundamental human right.

But every day, our country forces Minnesotans and people across this nation to make those decisions. Every day, we are harming them.

We have to stand together to address this crisis. Every day that we don’t fight back is a day that we allow Donald Trump’s administration to decide that the right to basic health care is negotiable.

It is non-negotiable.

If we can get 400 of Quinn’s supporters to stand up today and make their voices heard, we can send a message to Pete Stauber and the GOP: Hands off our health care. Will you add your name?

Together,

Team Quinn
