John, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you.
Last month, I’ll be honest, our fundraising started off slow. Slow enough that my team was worried we weren’t going to meet our monthly goal.
But this grassroots team stepped up to the plate, chipped in what they could to support my work, and as a result, we surpassed our goal.
Believe me when I tell you that every dollar someone gives to our movement makes a difference – even this far out from election season.
That’s because in Arizona, our elections are decided by razor-thin margins, and oftentimes come down to just a few hundred votes.
We saw it happen last year, and it’s because of this grassroots team that we were able to connect with tens of thousands of Arizonans across the state and defeat one of the most extreme Republicans on the ballot.
And now, as Governor, I’m working to build an Arizona for everyone.
I’m making sure Arizonans from all walks of life have a seat at the table when it comes to addressing issues that impact us all.
I’m calling for legislative action to be taken that addresses our teacher shortage, water crisis, and other pressing problems affecting our daily lives.
I’m vetoing any bill that attacks LGBTQ+ Arizonans, loosens gun safety measures, or threatens our reproductive rights.
I’m leading with unity, sanity, and compassion – and it’s all because of the support of this grassroots team.
Thank you for always standing with me, John. I am eternally grateful.
With immense appreciation,
— Katie
