Hi John, I'm reaching out to respectfully ask if you’d chip in before my last end-of-month fundraising deadline at midnight tonight. The first public poll of our race just came out showing me in a five-way statistical tie, but I know if we stand together, we’ll win and deliver the transformative change Philadelphians need.

Long before I was a candidate for office, I was a mom and a public school teacher. I never planned on getting into politics.
But I couldn’t stand on the sidelines when I saw what happens when a political system goes wrong: schools and libraries closed, people evicted from their homes, communities subject to violence, workers denied living wages.
I kept seeing the people in power walk away at the first sight of hard problems, but giving up on this city was never an option for me. So I got to work myself, and for 30 years, I’ve been taking on the issues others called impossible to solve.
And I haven’t been alone. I’ve spent most of my life working directly with people, building strong coalitions, and getting results.
Together, we restored nurses and counselors to schools, created an eviction diversion program that kept thousands of families in their homes, guaranteed stable schedules for 130,000 hourly workers, and launched our city’s first mental health mobile crisis response unit.
Now, I’m running for Mayor to continue the fight we began together 30 years ago. But we’re facing a historically crowded field of candidates, and last week, a shady group connected to a far-right billionaire started attacking me on Philly TV stations.
So here’s that personal donation link again, John: actblue.com/donate/[email protected]
Our city is in a critical moment, but I know we have the capacity to rise to it — not by tinkering around the edges, but by working together to deliver solutions as big as the problems. However you choose to support us, your contribution is incredibly appreciated.
Thank you, and have a happy Sunday night.
