This week, President Biden announced his re-election bid, and I am excited to support him and to help make the case to people at home, across the state, and across the country to send him back to the White House to continue the work.
House Republicans made the case themselves this week, threatening to default on America's bills for the first time in history unless their demands are met. They effectively issued a ransom note, passing a bill with massive spending cuts that will hurt people across the country. By refusing to act now to prevent a default–as Congress has time and again, including three times under President Trump–they are threatening an economic disaster that will devastate Americans across the country and playing politics rather than governing responsibly.
Each week, we see how important it is that we take back the House, gain ground in the Senate, and hold on to the White House.
And our campaign will play an important part. That’s why we are working as hard as ever to do our part, and that means hitting the goals we set.
