CPD’s signature Washington, DC fundraiser, [The Guiding Light Awards]([link removed]), is less than two months away on Tuesday, March 31! Over 300 philanthropists, frontline organizers, strategic partners and allies will gather at Busboys and Poets from 6:30–9:30pm to plan for our most important fight yet, and honor amazing individuals, like [Ibram X. Kendi]([link removed]) for his role in supporting the movement.

Dr. Kendi is one of America’s leading historians pioneering anti-racist voices.Throughout his career, Dr. Kendi has sought novel and practical ways to understand, explain, and solve the seemingly intractable problems of racial inequity and injustice.
