Dear Friend,

What is wrong with the DNC?! Last week, the Democratic National
Committee (DNC) announced that it is changing the rules in the middle of
the race to give billionaire Michael Bloomberg a spot on the debate
stage that he didn't earn—just one week after Bloomberg gave the DNC
more than $300,000. And now with the debacle in Iowa, it's clear that
something is very, very wrong at the DNC. Here at Common Dreams, we
believe that we must hold powerful people to account, no matter what
their party is. Our journalism is fiercely independent, and we will find
and report the facts about the malfeasance and corruption at the DNC.
Will you donate to Common Dreams and help us hold the DNC accountable?

When the public demanded a climate debate for the 2020 primaries, the
answer was "Sorry. The debates are set. We can't change them now." But
when billionaire Mike Bloomberg needed the rules changed so he could get
into the debate, the answer was "Of course. No problem." Other
candidates had to collect hundreds of thousands of donations from states
all over the country to get into the debates. When candidates like Cory
Booker and Julian Castro fell short, the DNC made no exceptions. Turns
out when you have a billion dollars, the rules don't apply. And the DNC
must be held to account. Will you donate to help support our efforts to
watchdog the DNC—and all the key players in the presidential
election—from now until Election Day?
