Friends -

You might be pretty angry today. We get it. There's a lot going on, and it may feel like there's not much good news.

Yes, we could give in to that anger, concern, or hopelessness. We can stew about how the impeachment trial was handled or the lies that Donald Trump is certainly going to spout at tonight's State of the Union. We can let frustration with last night's caucuses get the best of us. And with these choices, we could accept a path of defeat.

Or we can choose to do something about it.

We can act today -- right now -- to build a brighter, better future for all of us. We can recognize the existential threats created by the climate crisis and Donald Trump and realize that we each have the power to do something about it.

There is no better way to restore our faith in this country, the world, and our democracy than by choosing to take political action.

We cannot agonize, we must organize.
