Last week was another busy week in Washington, D.C. addressing your top concerns and the important issues facing our nation. Read below for an update on my work serving you.

Small Business Subcommittee Hearing

This week's Small Business Subcommittee hearing explored how alternative paths to student debt can help strengthen small businesses across the country. Not every career path is the same and not every student needs to take on piles of debt in order to secure a promising career, we need to show students there is another way. Watch my line of questioning here.

President Biden's Failed Promises

Since the moment he took office, Biden has put America last. In just two years, his failed policies have destroyed a once thriving economy, leaving Main Street to suffer record-high inflation, out-of-control government spending, and crippling supply chain issues. Open border policies have wrecked families and communities across the country with devastating human trafficking and the influx of dangerous illicit drugs like fentanyl. The unborn have been constantly attacked by Biden's pro-abortion policies, allowing access to late-term abortions with no regard for life. We cannot afford to allow Biden to push his radical leftist policies down the throats of hard-working Americans. We must protect Main Street and put America first.

Limit, Save, Grow Act Passed in the House

For too long, reckless government spending has wreaked havoc on the pocketbooks of hardworking Americans. This irresponsible spending is causing inflation to spiral out of control, harming small businesses and families across the country. We must get the American people back to work and stop using COVID as an excuse to throw taxpayer money down the drain. We must rein in the unnecessary spending by Joe Biden and the Democrats that is driving the American economy into the ground. For the first time we passed a debt ceiling bill that actually included federal spending. The Limit, Save, Grow Act limits government spending through the repeal of the green new deal and electric vehicle tax credits, saves taxpayer money by preventing the administration from taking money from hard working Americans to forgive student loans, and grows the economy by putting people back to work. Main Street can no longer afford to fund the radical left’s agenda.
