I’m reaching out to make sure you saw the news that we officially have a Republican challenger in my race.  

We'll be sharing more details about our opponent soon. For now, here's what you need to know: Since my election, national Republicans and their special interest allies have been working aggressively to flip this seat.

I'll be honest, my least favorite part of campaigning is asking people to donate their hard-earned money. But an early challenge means we’ll likely begin seeing GOP attacks sooner rather than later. We can’t get caught off guard.
