John, we don't have much time to waste so allow me to get straight to the point.

FIRST, we have until MIDNIGHT TONIGHT to reach our end-of-month goal before the Primary Election. This $4,000 goal will support our work in engaging voters for the upcoming Primary Election, and help us get a head start on registering voters for the General Election in November.

SECOND, tomorrow is our last day to register voters for the Primary Election on May 16. Every person we register today is another voice represented on the ballot, and we cannot afford to fall short now.

The final days leading to the voter registration deadline on May 1st are some of the busiest and most productive voter registration days of the year. Can you chip in $10 by midnight to help us close the gap to our goal and make the most of the next two days?

There are more than 1.2 million Pennsylvanians who are eligible to vote at this moment but are not registered for various reasons. Our work – where we shine – is cutting through those reasons.

A long history of disenfranchisement and neglect has convinced many of Pennsylvania’s eligible voters that casting their vote simply isn’t worth the effort.

Of all of the Black folks here in the Commonwealth who are eligible to vote, 21% are not registered. That number jumps to 35% within the Latino community. And that number is even greater in the Asian American and Pacific Islander community, with 41% eligible to vote and not registered to vote in Pennsylvania.

As a voting rights organization with a primary purpose of year-round, consistent voter engagement, we are centering communities of color and the youth and talking to voters about the issues that matter most to them. This is how we collected 20,000 voter registration forms in our first full year in action, and it’s how we’re going to collect another 25,000 this year.
