Join us at the University of Georgia's Tate Student Center in Athens, Georgia for the 2020 YDG Convention March 20-22, 2020.

What is Convention?

The YDG Convention is the number one event for Young Democrats across Georgia each year. Join us to elect new leadership, network, and learn from leaders in the political space.

YDG is proud to announce we'll be using the Whova app instead of paper programs at convention this year. The app is available free of charge for attendees on both android and apple smartphones.

Use the app to connect with others looking for lodging, dinner, or interested in the same sessions as you.

The agenda, parking instructions, sponsors, and real time announcements will be shared through the app.

Legislation to Watch

With the State Legislature back in session, there are several bills to keep your eyes on. One meaningful bill on the minds of many of our members is HB 444. HB 444 would enact restrictions to Georgia's dual enrollment program. You can read the bill in its entirety here and read the AJC's coverage of the bill here.
