That’s how much the oil and gas industry spent on federal lobbying last year amid record profits. Over a hundred million dollars.

In other words, that’s how much Big Oil spent to lobby Congress to continue to poison our environment, pump more CO2 into our atmosphere, and defeat any of our efforts to pass a Green New Deal and take bold action on climate change.

It may seem like a $31 contribution isn’t enough to go up against the millions of the fossil fuel industry, but we’re here to tell you that it is. Because it’s not just your $31 contribution. It’s the contributions of an entire movement of people — people of all perspectives and walks of life — who are committed to progressive change.

Some can afford to give more, maybe $50. Some chip in $10 or $15. Many give just $5 or less when they can.
