Residential Segregation

Health Affairs recently published two new health policy briefs on
residential segregation.

Residential segregation is a fundamental, structural determinant of
health because of its role in mediating exposure to key social
determinants of health, including education, income, employment, and
housing, among others.

The first brief reviews the history and harms of residential segregation

The second looks at several public policies and programs and evolving
case law addressing residential segregation and health disparities
