One month from today, the Supreme Court will hear a case that could lead to overturning Roe v. Wade. It’s what they’ve been aiming at for years:
In 2016, Trump promised to put anti-choice justices on the Supreme court and even said that women should be punished for seeking abortions -- a position he only recanted after fellow Republicans pointed out how needlessly cruel it was.
Then Mitch McConnell held open a Supreme Court vacancy, blocking President Obama’s nominee till the election.
Trump filled that seat AND Justice Kennedy’s with staunch anti-choice judges, flipping the 5-4 majority that previously protected core reproductive rights in America.
We cannot let reproductive rights be decided by Brett Kavanaugh.
