I know it’s getting late so I’ll be brief, John. Of everything I enjoy about serving as Sacramento County’s representative in Congress, having to talk to you about the dangers my far-right colleagues pose is not one of them.

I share my concerns with you, because they should concern everyone who believes in science, democracy, and wants the best for our country. And they should fire us up to stop this turmoil from continuing.

Hitting our goals consistently is a key reason Democrats did far better than expected in the midterms. Now, we have a lot we have to contend with again in 2024.
