As you all know, we still don't have the official results from Iowa yesterday.

But there are a few things that we do know:

We know that people counted us out in Iowa for months -- but we had a great night last night.
It's a tight three way race at the top.
And we're one of three candidates who will take home most of the delegates from Iowa -- and we're feeling good.

I know there are reasons to feel frustrated and discouraged. Yesterday we had a bumpy democratic process. Tonight a lawless president will deliver his State of the Union. Tomorrow Republicans in the Senate will likely declare that their loyalty is to Donald Trump rather than our Constitution and the rule of law.

But this is not the time to give in to cynicism.

Next week is the first in the nation primary here in New Hampshire. And after that we have 55 more states and territories with their voices still to be heard. This is the beginning of a long journey, and I need your help in this fight.

Look, it's been easy to find reasons to be discouraged these last few years -- as Democrats, as Americans. Reasons to give up and not bother. But when the future is uncertain and so much feels at risk, what I know -- in my heart and down to my bones -- is that the hard work matters. Every phone call. Every knocked door. Every vote. Every donation. Winning starts by showing up. And grassroots Democrats in Iowa showed up.

There is no time for fear. There is no time for discouragement. There is only time to dig deep and find courage. To commit to unity and common purpose. And to do the hard work that everyone in this party knows we need to do to beat Donald Trump.
