House Republicans just passed a spending plan including reckless cuts that would hurt working families across the country. It’s essentially Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s ransom demand -- Republicans are holding our entire economy hostage to try to pass their dangerous agenda. 

John, Republicans are putting politics over American families. They’re actually using people’s livelihoods as a political bargaining chip.

We need to win back the House Majority so we can put the focus back on everyday Americans. Will you chip in before the end-of-month deadline?

House Republicans’ plan would cost us 780,000 jobs, take away health care from thousands, and slow down Social Security checks. It would cut programs that reduce emissions and combat climate change; reduce student debt; and provide food assistance, affordable housing, and child care to low-income families.

And the plan increases the likelihood of a horrific economic recession.

Our agenda couldn’t be more different from Republicans’ plans. We want to lower costs. Create more jobs. Expand access to health care. In short, we want to make a real positive difference in people’s lives.

We’ve proven we’re the party up to the job of leading our country forward. 

John, we need to make sure we regain control of the House in the next elections and I’m counting on you to get involved ahead of the deadline. Any amount you can contribute before midnight on Sunday would make a difference.
