John, in case you missed it, Elle published a feature on me and one of my best friends and colleagues, Congresswoman Summer Lee.

There's a part in the feature where I tell a story about dinner at Sen. Elizabeth Warren's home.
And while I was surrounded by friends and colleagues, I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude.
Grateful, not just because I get to fight for life-changing benefits for my community, but because 17-year-old me would never believe me if I told her where we are. At that table, I was overcome with emotion, looking down and trying to eat my pasta like "Don't you dare cry."
John, I am so honored to be where I am, to be surrounded by people who care about delivering for our working families as much as I do.
If we're going to move the needle on important issues like immigration reform, reproductive health and rights, and affordable housing for all, partners at every level – from people in Congress to people in our communities – are essential.
That's why I'm reaching out, John. Our End of Month Fundraising Deadline is right around the corner, and our team needs your help to reach our goal. Will you donate ASAP? [[link removed]]
