The Texas primary is less than a year away and three opponents have filed paperwork to run against Lizzie.
It reminds me a lot of the first time I was on #TeamLizzie for her 2018 election. Lizzie won a competitive primary and runoff that year, defeating seven candidates. She went on to flip TX-7 from Red to Blue for the first time ever, delivering a key win for the new Democratic House majority.
We take nothing for granted, and will work just as hard this year as we did then. We’re counting on supporters like you to get involved.
We need to talk to voters about the great job Lizzie is doing for our district in Congress—like her efforts to protect access to reproductive care and medication and protecting Social Security and Medicare from Republican attacks.
We need to be prepared to run a strong campaign in 2024, and reaching our fundraising goals is key to making that happen.
Our first deadline of the quarter is tomorrow, and I’d really appreciate any amount you can contribute. Contributions—big and small—make a difference as we prepare our campaign for the primary.
Talk soon,
Collin
